Ba Chor Mee with a flavorful broth and springly noodles - kway teow was surprisingly very chewy (sanuki-udon like texture), good chili and tender pork slices. Starting from $9 for the signature bowl, it is slightly pricey by hawker standards but still a very tasty bowl and will recommend

Typically go for miniwork noodles (小锅面) which I find always satisfying - soup comes with an egg, fishballs, meatballs, fish dumpings. Soup is sweet and savoury. Served with dry noodles on the side. Noodles are topped with flavorful, marinated mushrooms.

Hui Wei Chilli Ban Mian’s chili is crispy, flavorful and the owners tend to keep the stall open till late (9pm++)
